Miryam was asked by a local rheumatologist to speak to parents and teenagers at the annual Arthritis Foundation KAT-FISH camp for children with arthritis. She took up the assignment with gusto (as usual) and spent a good amount of time preparing for a format that remained unknown until showtime. In the end she was a superstar, earning a lot of post-talk conversations with parents and teens as well as an invitation back to speak before the board of the local Arthritis Foundation. PS, we spent the night before the talk at the Camano Blossom B&B where we had an unexpected and very interesting conversation with the proprietors and owner about topics ranging from their work as marriage mentors to beer. What a great weekend!
