Miryam's parents have helped us with the enormous furniture-moving project and by now we're almost done. Things are back in their places, curtains rehung, glasses cleaned, and a lot of new carpet vacuumed. In addition, Miryam's father took a lot of effort to revarnish just about every wood surface in the house including the sliding door (pictured), a chair, and (also pictured) the slated wood in our entryway.
