Last Saturday we watched Spain completely outplay (but only barely beat) Germany 1-0 in the finals of the Euro 2008 tournement. We watched at the home of Arti and Farshad. There was a small group huddled around the bigscreen flatpanel including Farshad's sister Sepideh, her husband Ali, and Michela. Afterwards we had a barbecue in their backyard. Is it time for us to break down and get ourselves a flat panel TV?!!!

Viva España

NO WAY!!!!! I saw the same game - and Spain barely beat Germany because their offense wasn't that good the only goal they made was a lucky shot and the other tries were half assed. Spain won (and deserved to win) only based on their awesome defense.
