There were a lot of American "contractors" headed to Iraq on my flight to Kuwait. Large collar sizes and cargo pants were the norm, even in business class. I didn't ask too many questions. The Texan with whom I shared a ride to the hotel worked for Northrop Grumman on a system that intercepted mortar shells in mid-air. I asked him when he'd last been scared and said that when it was his time, it was his time. Thank you Mr. President.
