Ultimas de Carolina del Sur
We were joined on this trip by our faithful travel companions Rick and Michela - they spent a couple of nights with us in Charleston before we headed together to the Hilton Head Resort for a few nights. In addition to experiencing Beryl en español (both as she made landfall and as she swept around us and back out to sea), we saw the Magnolia Plantation, nestled in the swamp, which explains the alligator eyes. We were warned not to put our heads in the cannons at Fort Sumter which explains another photo. Lastly, we spent an undue amount of time watching people go by as we waited for our, well, "piece of work" taxi driver to whisk us out of Charleston.
