Abu Dhabi - 2007

It's been quiet on the homefront so how about a little trip down memory lane? In 2007 Tobias joined Miryam for a couple of weeks while she was on a 3 month assignment in Dubai. We took several side trips including a weekend (in Dubai the weekend is Friday/Saturday) drive about an hour down the road to Abu Dhabi to have a look around. As we arrived we kept following the signs to "Palace" and eventually arrived...it turned out to be an amazing hotel (enlace en español)!!! Other attractions on our brief visit included the corniche (a must in all Gulf cities), a huge mosque that was still under construction, and the airport. PS, Happy Birfday to J-Crust!!!
