Miryam took her very first camping trip with six other ladies to a rural part of the Olympic Peninsula (enlace en español). Although she didn't get much sleep, she did get to spend two nights in a tent, sitting around a campfire, enjoying camp food, and using a camp toilet! The Saturday was taken up by time at the Saginaw Loggers Days which, needless to say, was an extreme cultural experience for this big city European (drunk guys operating chainsaws, climbing poles, etc.)!
