
Tobias got a last minute invitation from Rick for the
Northwest Airlines 747-200 retirement celebration at the
Museum of Flight. The two drove down to the museum in south Seattle and got a good deal of time to walk around and inside the airplane,
ship 6624. Highlights included the crew rest area, the flight deck (pictured), and views of a
Wedgetail airplane as it came back from a test flight. Afterwards there was a reception inside the museum with lots of food served. Rick and Tobias spent a lot of time perfecting skills landing the Space Shuttle in the side-by-side simulators.
