We don't have much new in the photo department recently, so we're falling back on an oldie but goodie. This photo is from Busua Beach in western Ghana, an idyllic beach location where we stayed in late December 2007. That same day we watched fishermen expend a lot of energy pulling in their nets but not pulling in enough to feed their village. Miryam read the touching book One Hen over the weekend, our copy supplied by Arti and forwarded back to Maryland for shipment to Berekoso shortly. We have both had reason to remember how lucky we are to lead the privileged, comfortable lives that we live.
