We invited our closest friends in the area over to meet our parents, enjoy a few beverages, as well as a few eat-em-ups. We had very good attendance and a nice time. Our modest home hosted more people than it perhaps had ever done. Well, at least since the engagement party for Tricia and Graham. Una Fiesta Pequeña

I'm glad you specified that you had a dinner party for your "local" friends. I was beginning to feel left out! :-) I hope your parents are having a great time!
You're absolutely right Shelley, I should have specified "local" in our earlier post as well. You and many others are emphatically NOT left out!!!
So not true - as you are always trying to make us jealous with mentions of sangria etc. :o)
