We watched the sun set on our Memorial Day weekend, joined by our family and friends in San Diego. It was really cold and even the heatlamps set out by the hotel were insufficient. When the sun finally set on the Pacific Ocean, applause rumbled its way through the bar at our hotel in La Jolla. It was magnificent but applause for a sunset?!!
